Alright, if you've read the last post, you knew that Friday the 13th did not bode well for me...
But I have happier news today. No, the sewing machine is still not behaving. In fact, I managed to nick my finger somehow on it while examining it further and, given my gothy sensibilities, we are now calling said sewing machine "Vlad the Impaler."
But, I still have happy news to share:
I am now the official Monday team blogger for the ADO blog (yay, thanks Nicole, KyEliza, Colleen and all my other wonderful team-mates!)
Annnnd, you might see an interview with Nicole (Mealy Monster) regarding Art Dolls Only in the next issue of BigTownFarmer!
Woot!
Also--if I didn't have enough on my plate, I will be joining ADO's Shakespeare challenge: I will most likely be doing a Romeo and Juliet piece and it will be VERY different from anything I've done so far....hmm, this should be VERY interesting!
FINALLY, don't forget:
In the morrow, between the 12 hours between 12 midday, and 12 midnight Comes Mid-March Madness! Join us now, and don't delay Lest you miss our opening giveaway! Mwahahaha!
See you tomorrow friends!
Cool Zan! (not the impaling, blood-letting but the Monday blog posting) Looking forward to seeing what your fertile imagination comes up with.
ReplyDeleteAlso looking forward to seeing your R & J piece! I haven't even started my
Mustard Seed yet. LOL at this point I'm thinking of doing an assemblage piece with a jar of mustard and a head.
Haha, Sue, I have not started either. The doll will probably still be all cloth, but with a much different shape technique going on (well, at least in my head, I don't know how well this will translate in real life)!
ReplyDeleteHmm...I actually think the assemblage piece would work!! :)
I know your R & J dolls will be wonderful! I can hardly wait. See you in a couple hours......
ReplyDeleteHuggles!
Happy Sunday Zan!
