I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, Solstice and Father's Day. After recovering from Sea Swap Mayhem (which was rather lovely, I must say!) I thought I would share a few behind the scenes news of the swap.
First up--an official announcement and apology. I didn't put in all of the pictures for the Sea Swap Parade. In a couple of these cases--because I am apparently old, or senile, or deranged, or some combination of these--I totally left out two pictures that were sent to me in a timely fashion. Or, it could just be all of those beautiful colors and patterns of all of those other dolls I was posting! Distracting, I tell you!
Seriously though: all of the dolls have now been put into the Mermaid Parade, but in case you don't want to revisit them in the last post, here are the dolls that arrived to the party late:
Mermaid by Marilyn Butler
Little Blue Mermaid by Denni of DenniDoodles Creations
Pink Mermaid by Kathie of Little Cotton Aprons
Seahorse by Melissa of Ardea's NestHere are a few that some of the members decided to share:

And what he looks like "all dressed up".

I hope you enj0yed this little tour behind the scenes! Once again, thank you for this beautiful experience, everyone!!
You may be asking where MY swap creatures are....mwahahaha...that's coming up soon!

Zan it is so funny you should say that re: my poem! I wasn't going in that direction intentionally, at first, but when I got about half way through writing it and the words 'and out on the lawn there arose such a clatter' came to mind, I laughed out loud and just went with the flow! ;)
